Maybe they do to some degree, but this books makes no sound case for that conclusion. 90% of the book is about training the dogs to get into the MRI machine and keep still, and the last 10% is a maudlin commentary on the death of one of the author's dogs. I am a dog owner and dog lover and I love my dog and he gives me unconditional love in return/5(K). I bought this book almost entirely based on the title. As a business owner, I am very motivated to create a product that customers would “love more than their dog.” So I ordered the book right away. Having read the book, I have mixed feelings about it. I’m glad I read it -- there were some good points raised/5(35). This book is perfect for dog lovers and it brought back to my mind memories of the dog I owned and their behavior. I appreciated the style of writing, the clarity of explanation and was fascinated by the results of the experiments on dog and their owners. I think it's a must read if you own a dog and want to understand his behaviour.4/5.
